Can I recommend 'Why I expected Hamilton's Ferrari struggles' on the-race.com, one of the best insights - thanks to Carlos Sainz - into the challenges of modern F1? It's intriguing; well done The Race and thanks Carlos.
Expecting to be told by someone failing to make contact that they're very busy at the moment. What's the most acerbic/pertinent/witty rejoinder to that?
A brilliant ninth place for Billy Major in the final World Cup slalom at Hafjell in Norway, and a nice taste of the leader's chair for a while. Dave Ryding came in 17th, Laurie Taylor DNF-ed. British skiers thriving.
Incidentally, well done to the Barilla brothers for backing Mikaela Shiffrin who scored her hundredth World Cup win today. Brilliant foresight
History is made by Mikaela Shiffrin with her 100th World Cup win in Sestriere - after failing to qualify for the second run of the GS yesterday. What a second run- but actually beaten by Cornelia Oehlund who finished an amazing fifth
F1’s 75 anniversary launch tonight. All teams and drivers, two hours of TV on Sky and streamed elsewhere. I’m intrigued to see how competitive it will be!

Firebombing cars now in London, that’s on top of the daily machete wars on our streets, one rape every hour and a phone stolen every 5 mins in the capital …
Hey @MayorofLondon , great job you’ve done, said no one.
Great performances by Dave Ryding and Billy Major at Saalbach in the World Championship slalom. Dave picked up seven places with sixth fastest time in the second run to finish sixth overall. Major picked up ten places with fourth fastest time. Congrats to winner Meillard.
Big congrats to Reece Bell(20th) and Victoria Palla(23rd) in the slalom World Championships at Saalbach. Great performances from both to get into the top 30. Men's slalom with Ryding, Taylor and Major tomorrow.

Another alpine medal! 🥉⛷️
This time for Zak Carrick-Smith, who put together two great runs to come home in 3rd.
This is Zak’s fourth medal with Team GB at Olympic youth events and he’s still only 18!

Good interview with Bernie Ecclestone by Oliver Brown in today’s Telegraph. Interesting views - of course - on Trump and Starmer. Lots of common sense too.

I don't use this word lightly.
Keir Starmer is a traitor.
He's giving away British territory for NO REASON, taxing farmers out of existence, making us poorer, letting pensioners freeze—while wasting BILLIONS on foreign aid and illegal migrants.
The man is an absolute disgrace!

Keir Starmer’s broken promises:
▪️Winter fuel allowance for pensioners
▪️University tuition fees
▪️WASPI women
▪️Supporting farmers
▪️Freezing council tax
▪️Reducing energy prices
▪️Restoring integrity to politics
▪️Not raising taxes on working people
Snake oil salesman.
Excellent result from all three Brits at Schladming, all three going through to the second run for the first time this season: Ryding(8th), Taylor(26th) and Major(28th). Second run at 19.45 UK time.
Fancy a relaxed World Cup slalom today? Schladming, with three Brits, first run at 16.45 UK time, second at 19.45. Commentary by the excellent Ed Drake on Eurosport or Disco+
