Middle Ages with my 14 and 4 year old, had been discussing it with @craig6968, sadly I couldn't talk my 13 & 11 year old Daughters into also playing it. I find this takes a lot of similar mechanics from King Domino and increases gameplay, nice way to progess children in gaming

Some Planet with the Kids, I think the tactile nature of the game enhances the fun factor for the kids.

I am glad that you find it interesting. Antonio Vaquera and I fell in love with the theme when we discovered it. Tonkin is in North Vietnam, many wargames about that country, none from this war! We wanted to take risks and innovate with mechanisms, no dice but mahjong & tamcuc

Little known fact; on that day President Nixon gave Jet Li a Nutribun and told him that someday he would grow up to be someone important.

US President Richard Nixon greets young Chinese martial arts star Jet Li (Li Lianjie) @jetli_official and his wushu troupe, 1974, Washington, D.C., by White House Photographer by Robert L. Knudsen. The troupe’s trip to America, following "Ping-Pong Diplomacy," not only showcased the unique charm of Chinese martial arts to the Western world, but also had a profound impact on thawing China-US relations and promoting exchanges between the two countries.

And Col Cosgrave's signature nearly made a big mess of the whole thing.

On this day in 1945, Japan unconditionally surrenders to the Allies. The ceremony takes place aboard the American battleship USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay. The Second World War, which began exactly six years and one day earlier, is officially over.

This is on Gamefound, looks cool, but $130 is just way too much.

A Tight 4 Player Game of Dune Imperium, ended on the 9th round and was anyone's game. My only complaint is that is is too difficult to trash cards, needs more mechanisms to do so.

“Free” is typically just a term which means “paid for by someone else.”
