I think Sting was the first TV rassler to wrestle like a basketball player. Sting rocks.
Watch the crowd when Sting hits that leaping clothesline

Bret was never scared of the fans turning on him. He beat the shit out of the 123 Kid throughout, and allowed maximum sympathy for the smaller man. Bret worked many babyface vs babyface matches in the WWF. Always the aggressor, always told the story that the win was what mattered
Bret Hart vs 1-2-3 Kid Love the finish, love the match.

One thing I love about the Bret-Austin feud is that they had this, the last heavyweight match of its kind on a big stage in the United States. But then a few months later, they also had the first match of a new era in pro wrestling. Both were completely different from each other.
Pure wrestling

WWF ran 23 shows in Canada. 2 of them PPVs. Went to Germany, Kuwait, UK. They structured the company around him drawing the houses internationally and in Canada, after a dire 96 without Bret. But "The Hart Foundation wouldnt have been as popular as DX." Jesus Christ.
Replying to @elliottswrstlin
DX was as popular as Austin in a stretch. Hart Foundation wouldn’t have done that.

Whenever I mention how much better the Attitude Era would be if Vince screwed Shawn and Bret stuck around people inevitably insist it wouldn't work because Bret Hart wouldn't have fit in and I just wonder what people are talking about & if they've actually watched 1997 Bret Hart

I took this picture at the end of the Cannonball show last year. I got to talk to Jeff a few times about wrestling and hardcore. He was always so nice and welcoming. More people need to be like Jeff. CANNONBALL FOREVER.
