The deafening silence from one side of the ideological spectrum regarding DOJ’s ham-fisted attempt to run a game on the judiciary and the public with the corrupt Hunter Biden plea is nearly as discreditable as the other side’s endless apologia for the most unfit president ever.

Didn’t Am Home Products case severely diminish Chevron?
7. Courts, in turn, have become sloppy/lazy in interpreting statutes. It’s a vicious cycle of leg buck-passing and judicial deference to executive overreach. Chevron deference rests on the presumption that Congress won’t over-delegate and that agencies will be loyal agents.

If one of your vocational non-negotiables is a job where you have absolute immunity against lawsuits brought by people who’ve plausibly accused you of violating their civil rights—man, I hope you understand why people might not have much respect for you or your profession.

Taxpayers funded this research, but NEJM wants to charge you $ to see the results. (NEJM essentially endorsed Biden in 2020). Journals make millions from Pharma ads &have political agendas. They shouldn't be charging you to see NIH research that you funded nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NE…

B/c the mandate was never about science or public health?
Amazing that unvaccinated foreign visitors still cannot enter the US. Since there is no scientific or public health justification, what might the reason be? My primary hypothesis is xenophobia. Any better ideas?

Until just recently, the US public health establishment was firmly in favor of masking two year olds. How does the @CDCgov recover its credibility without at least admitting error?

Dear lawyers, Is there a Putin exception to the first amendment that gives the government the authority to suppress speech by scientists? Puzzled, Jay
Truly demented outburst this week by Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) -- fulminating that a bill to limit censorship of social media by government agents should be called the "Putin Protection Act," because what Republicans really want is for "Putin and Xi to run free over our platforms"
