What is Tough?
- Competing is tough
- Adversity is tough
- Finishing is tough
- Winning is tough
- Practice is tough
- Starting is tough
- Losing is tough
- LIFE is tough
This is why sports matter.
They develop the toughness needed for life.

"I don't think that athletes fully understand what it means to be elite.
It's practice before practice.
It's early mornings week after week - month after month.
It's sacrificing time with family and friends.
It's relentless.
And most people aren't willing to do it."
Congratulations to Trinity Davis and Angel Dickerson on being selected to the DJ All-Area Basketball Team! ☘️
Shoutout to Leigha Brown + Trinity Thompson on Special Mentions and Eliana Isom on Honorable Mention! ☘️
Great Job Ladies! 🏀

Be a Master of Your Mind.
We fell short in the Regional Championship vs. SJO.
Davis lead the way with 17.
The Lady Irish finish 20-7 overall, 4th at State Farm, & Conference Champions!
I am proud of our team’s effort and the overall growth this season. We will be back and better next year.
Go Irish! 🍀

Former Kankakee and BBCHS boys hoops coach could have never envisioned working at city rival Bishop McNamara. But that's exactly where Renchen's road his led him, working as an assistant coach and PE teacher.

Today we are reminded to cherish the time we have and the people around us. We send our prayers and deepest condolences to the Crite family and the entire Momence community. 🕊️❤️
🍀UPDATE🍀
The Lady Irish are 18-5 (6-0) after a tough 4 game stretch within 6 days. Taking down Wheaton, Chicago Hope, St. Edward and falling short to a solid Butler Prep squad. Super excited to kick off the conference tourney next week!🏀🔥
We hope to see you there!
