🌱 Within the scope of the BlueForesting project, Catarina’s Master’s thesis focuses on the #restoration of seaweed species as #NatureBasedSolutions to mitigate the effects of #ClimateChange 🌱

🌿 One of the restoration methods explored involves collecting mature #seaweed receptacles which can be used to perform in vitro fertilizations. Zygotes will be grown indoors into germlings, to later test novel coastal #reforestation methods 💡
