You can really tell when someone is doing a surface level analysis on a game they never played, Vampire Survivor has a ton of deep mechanics and trying to equate a game that costs 10 bucks with AAA slop games is extremely fucking stupid.

SOTN is really only great in the first half or so. At a certain point the unnecessary RPG mechanics and overpowered transformations take away the little tension that was there. The "Metroidvania" genre is mostly a blight outside of actual Metroid games

i’m sure belmont's revenge has issues beyond the mid ost but the "it doesn’t feel like castlevania" argument is laughable considering this is the same series that completely altered its identity after a single entry on the PS1 chose to ditch the platforming and copy metroid

Did you spend half of that 5k idling in camp? Even all the gimmick MH accounts running Wilds glaze campaigns admit that the wounds make it impossible for monsters to fight back. Even taking the claw into account (which came way later) you can only do that to flying monsters

This series has been plagued by Dark Souls players who throw a fit whenever any game they play isn't Dark Souls. Monster Hunter is never gonna be hard beyond your first entry and the very, very endgame and you all really need to accept that sooner than later
