Tom Taylor's Nightwing is not a serious enough body of work for me to actually give my most constructive criticisms, but this is my attempt at picking at the plot off the top of my head with the amount of seriousness it deserves.

*Nightwing #143 Spoilers* just incredible, this is EXACTLY what we’ve been hoping for with Damian: showing off what he’s been learning at the hospital and putting it to use in the field Dick being stunned and proud of him is just the cherry on top

There's really no need to be rude sir. I would reply with a firm "erm, actually" If you truly can't see any correlation between the proposed plot and any comics then we disagree Of course the premise is "Batman and Deathstroke should fight because they did in that Arkham game"

This is NOTHING like the comic. Who was the suspected spy? Batgirl? Or are talking about the animated movie that came out in 2017? Explain

"Deathstroke would nearly kill both Batman and Batgirl before they would both escape via an aboveground train" Dick and slade love a fight where Dick's outmatched (Recent canon actually favours Dick in a straight fight) Read: Tales of the Teen Titans #43–44 Nightwing Vol. 2 #82

"climactic one-on-one showdown through the streets of Gotham" It's too recent to be a reference point but The Climax of Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths #7 Batman and Deathstroke do have an epic showdown in Titans (Vol. 2) #28–29 - Dick being Batman here

There are thousands of Batman comics and they choose to adapt a teen titans one #fraudalert

Ben Affleck’s scrapped ‘THE BATMAN’ movie would have featured: • Deathstroke killing Commissioner Gordon • Batgirl’s debut • Deathstroke taking Alfred hostage • A revenge plot against Batman over his son’s death (Via: comicbookmovie.com/batman/th…)

Jason Todd has been completely valueless as a character since 2011 but damn those first few red hood stories were something special

Love this. Really drives home the gremlin theme I like to push with Dick as Robin

The way this is a more accurate interpretation of Dick Grayson than like 90% of people who've ever written for Nightwing after 1989

Appreciation post for DickBats on this #BatmanDay because it's only fair to remember how good Dick Grayson has been at donning successfully the most iconic Cowl in comic history. Twice. 🤩🦇
