Anyone who thinks this World Series is in defiance of analytics is someone who will never be convinced of the value of evidence. These are two of the most data-driven teams in any sport in the world. There is a better arugment that this is the ultimate MoneyBowl.
I can’t believe my ears, but @SNKenReid just went on national TV and called this the “anti-analytics World Series”

Rubenstein made billions in private equity and by his own admission watched his friends make even more owning baseball teams. That should tell you something about how profitable this business really is. I’d love to know why so many fans are convinced owners need a cap when franchise values have exploded and we still have no idea how much money these teams actually make. If the owners are struggling so badly under the current system, open the books and prove it. They won’t. And this is why!

Entering an offseason where MLB owners will try to convince you that they need a salary cap for small market teams to compete... we're going to have a Milwaukee vs. Cleveland/Tampa Bay World Series. Truly hilarious stuff.

MLB needs competitive balance. The large market teams just can’t keep up any more.

FINAL: Brewers 7, Dodgers 4 Milwaukee takes a 2-0 lead in the NLCS. The Brewers are everything we thought they were. It’s a menacing, delightful brand of baseball. The Dodgers are in rough shape. They haven’t hit. Didn't win a Yamamoto start. Much to fix, little time to fix it.
