New research shows seaweed can hold 50 times more carbon than the atmosphere and has sequestered about 30% of anthropogenic CO2 emissions. Seaweed could also be used as a food source, and as animal feed to reduce methane emissions from livestock farming. bit.ly/4efXcJ4
