Where I asked them to park gives them a shorter walk to the house. Currently they park in the middle of the driveway. She’s not responding and the car is still there. I’m giving her until this afternoon to move the car. If she doesn’t I’m dragging it out of the way with either one of the trucks or the mini x.

$1000 worth of stumps and a nice an easy $2400 tree job. Decent day ahead of us and should all be home at a decent time.

Climber accepted my job offer. November 1st I will be a 2 crew company officially. Need 2 more OBS powerstrokes now. Kind of living the dream right now. Hiring cool dudes to work with and buying cool older trucks to run my business out of.

Ahh wonderful. The cops have already been called on one of my crews this morning. Why? Because my trucks were parked at the curb in front of my customers house. Boomer Karen’s and their eunuch husbands are the bane of modern day America. Cop was cool. Told my guys that lady sucked.

I made a job offer to a second climber. I have raised my prices 3 times this year. My close rate keeps getting higher. If I raise any higher it’s going to be borderline price gouging. My main crew has work throughout the rest of the year. I really didn’t want to do this going into our slow season but I don’t have much of a choice at this point. Let’s grow I guess.

Odd interaction with a customer just now. She asked how long I had been in business. I told her I opened up my business a year and a half ago Her: Oh that makes my skin crawl. Lower your price a couple hundred dollars and I will give yall a chance. Me: No ma’am go ahead and get a few more quotes. My prices are set. People are weird.

I need y’all to point me to the X Appliance guru. I need a new dishwasher. The one that we have has never been great but it came with the house. Looks like it has finally given out. It’s a GE which I thought was decent brand but this one proved me wrong.

Employee #6 accepted a job offer today. I’m building for crew #2. If I can book out another two weeks for my contract climber I will be giving him a job offer soon.
