the stock needs capitalism a lot more than capitalism needs the stock market.

Isn’t the whole point of taxing the rich to make celebrities pay for social services
You know the country is in a bad place when celebrities have to fund social services because the President won’t.

I am seeing a lot of Mamdani in my timeline. Like a lot. Mostly positive. This guy actually doing good stuff in New York?

The problem with these types of statements is not that he is necessarily wrong about the outcomes or future he sees. But blaming people who just run business for all sort of nation wide poverty seems misguided. He could be right, I don’t know, but it seems like starting at less gov corruption and money printing is a much better place than trying to rip off the legs of rich people considering the fact they make a lot of nonzero sum stuff and people do inspire to be rich from time to time.
The future of this country is extreme poverty, unless we tax the super rich more.

Crypto is taking over the stock market, banking, and internal payments. There is no techno-logical reason it does not.

so when is github going to get the "merge all" button across multiple repos in place?

I thinks it’s crazy that millennials complain about boomers ruining everything through bad economy policies, and then they decide they want to do it all over again to gen z and beyond.

It’s crazy everything Bernie tweets is about Trump. He has an audience and he panders to them hard.
Let's be clear: Trump's administration is not "America First." It is "Trump First."

Quick reminder the stock market protects the dollar from inflating to infinity. If we start taxing "wealth" things are going to get extremely... ugly quick.

The gov't theory in my case isn't about me. It's a template. Under US v. Storm, "money transmitting" no longer requires custody or control of funds. Publishing code that others use is enough. Who's in danger: → Every maintainer of open-source privacy, messaging, or crypto tools that any bad actor ever touches → Every operator of a financial service — DeFi or not — who learns some % of users are illicit and keeps operating. Knowledge alone becomes the crime → Every dev of immutable, self-custodial software, held to a duty to "stop" what is technically unstoppable It's already working as designed. Michael Lewellen finished lawful crowdfunding software and can't publish it. He asked DOJ if he'd be prosecuted. Their answer, in federal court: we "cannot disclaim an intent to prosecute." Finished code, sitting on a shelf. You don't need to be charged to be silenced. And SDNY isn't done with me. Prosecutors want to retry me regardless — regardless of the hung counts, regardless of Van Loon, regardless of FinCEN's own guidance. I've been fighting this for 3+ years. Legal defense at this level costs millions, and I can't do it alone. If you write code, use privacy tools, or believe publishing software isn't a crime — this is your fight too. This capital will be used to uphold the First and Fourth Amendments to the Constitution as they relate to mankind’s interaction with AI. To those hearing about us for the first time, consider switching to an AI platform that doesn’t demand control over you; that doesn't demand the unearned privilege of spying on your activity and siphoning it to the inquisitive. Consider that you alone should be sovereign over your mind, whether natively biological or augmented by machine.
