Our Year 4 designers have been busy this week bringing history to life in DT, designing and creating their very own Roman beacon towers! They have all shown true Captain Resilience spirit through perseverance, problem-solving and a little Roman ingenuity! 🏛️🛠️
Year 1 have been working really hard in their PE lessons this half term! Today we recapped all the skills we have learnt in a 1A vs 1B relay, focusing on dribbling, under arm throwing and catching. Well done Year 1!🏐🏃♀️🏃♂️
Year 4 have been discussing the impact of the Roman invasion and deciding whether they were invaders or improvers.
Year 3 have been developing their painting techniques as they work towards their final cave art piece. Inspired by Emily Kame Kngwarreye, they experimented with mixing colours and creating different tints, working like Captain Resourceful as they adapted their ideas 🎨
Year 4 have been developing their passing and dribbling skills in basketball, showing great teamwork and working like Captain Resilience!
The reception children have been busy in their literacy lesson today! They have been strengthening their fingers ready for writing by exploring play dough and threading 🖐️ 😊
Year 3 became researchers in RE this afternoon finding out about religious leaders including Moses, Jesus and Prophet Muhammad. They created mind maps of why they are important, famous stories and interesting facts about them. ☪️✡️✝️
Year 4 have had a fantastic time this morning for sports day! Thank you for coming and supporting us 🏃♀️🏃♂️
Year 4 have really enjoyed the Colour Dash on Friday afternoon. Great fun for an amazing charity, thank you for your donations.
