That "Nuge is not a 2C" crowd has been awfully quiet since he came back from injury

I think we are getting close to needing to find a replacement for the role Hyman is going to leave behind. By no means do you move Hyman. But with his injuries, it might be time to find a new top screener on the team. Or at worst a 2nd guy to play under Podkolzin.

I think 3on3 OT has lost its charm now that it's solved. It has turned into a "look for the perfect chance" fest and teams will hold onto a puck for over 40% of a OT before taking any shot.

I don't understand this obsession to split up McDavid and Draisaitl

While Kirby Dach has played less than 50% of his possible career games. I do think adding him into the middle 6 could actually be a good move if you can buy low. Injury prone, absolutely. But adds a "jack of all" utility player into our lineup if he can manage to be healthy.

I am convinced that Ice Hockey has one of the biggest gaps of skill from professional players to non-professionals in sports.

Bouchard could put up 100 points this season, but that give away he's going to have in November is what's going to cost him the Norris.

Filip Hallander has a very real chance to fit in seamlessly with this team. Has wheels on him and does have a decent offensive ability that can compliment other players like Kapanen, Joseph and (currently) Howard in the bottom 6

A record breaking first 2 games would absolutely be 1st star. If we didn't see a point-per-game goalie with a goal and .934sv% who at that point had more points than any player in Detroit and would've been tied for top in Calgary.

Why is McDavid and Draisaitl together? The list of players who can actually contain this duo is limited to very few in the entire league. If we're using them to get back a couple goals. Why aren't we using them to get ahead a couple goals first and splitting them up after?
