I have been sharing Suki, asking for a home for her for a few years, now it's an end of life home she needs.
SHE HAS BEEN IN THIS SHELTER FOR 7 YEARS !! 💔
Please share, don't let her die in kennels. Suki is the most wonderful 12-year-old Akita. She has been living with a tumour in her brain for coming up to two years now, and today we received the devastating news that she now also has a tumour on her spleen. This diagnosis means that Suki will likely not be with us for any longer than 18 months, and the vet has advised us that there is a chance her condition could deteriorate much sooner
We are desperate to find her an end-of-life foster care arrangement so that she can live out her final days/months in comfort and peace . Suki is such an endearing and loveable personality, and she has a treasured place in the hearts of all her friends here at Freshfields. Suki does have her own room here at the rescue, but life here at the moment just isn't the full and enriching existence that she deserves to be living in her older age
