See how @TheRyanRobinson does it
He’s been blogging for ages and knows everything about blogging and SEO. And when I say “everything” I mean it: he has seen it all since day 1
I publish hundreds of AI-assisted posts and Google ranks plenty of them. The tool isn't the secret. The boring 20 minutes after is.
Here's the thing about blog automation in 2026. Everyone's scared it turns your site into a robot content farm. It only does that if you let the machine make the decisions.
What I automate is the repetitive stuff: research, first drafts, scheduling, publishing across sites. What I never hand over is the judgment. I spend real time up front getting the outline and voice right, then real time at the end editing, fact-checking, and making sure the post actually answers a human's question.
And no, Google doesn't penalize AI content. It penalizes thin, lazy, wrong content. Those aren't the same thing. I've got hundreds of AI-assisted posts ranking precisely because a human still owns the start and the finish.
The reason is simple. AI can save you hours. It can't protect your reputation. That part's still your job.
The whole system I run reaches over a million readers a month, but it falls apart the second I try to automate the thinking.
I'm curious where others draw the line.
What are you comfortable automating, and what do you still insist on doing yourself?
If you're curious how I actually use AI in my content process, I break it down in the blog and video linked in the first comment.
Here's a quick @Reddit post by our founder @valsopi on how to promote your posts so you don't fall into the discouragement trap of no one reading your blog posts reddit.com/r/Blogging/commen…

A quick update to the interface 👇
Always tweaking @BlogmakerApp ever so slightly, not just adding/updating features, but also retouching the interface for a better user experience.
Introduced Inter font alternates and made fields + buttons fully rounded for a calmer experience to a rather technical setup.
Our new website is constantly getting better 🌻
