It’s been two weeks since the solana:9kXG537MZvtTBUieRvrye9KG93FbA25QAk7zf5oYpump started in France. For two weeks, you’ve been sharing everything from the beginning, showing the students protesting for their rights. Yesterday was the last day before the school holidays. And today, all of France has decided to join the movement.

Guys, please, we understand that you want us to stream every day, but to stream, we need to be in the city where the protests are happening. If we’re in Nice and the protest is in Paris, that’s 800 km away. We’re trying to be on the ground every day to stream what’s happening. For now, we’re in Nice and things are calm. We’re also going to Marseille, but on Saturday and Sunday, we’ll be in Paris

France is surveying the damage after its worst day of civil unrest in years, following Saturday’s nationwide protests. 🇫🇷
President Macron called the rioters “sowers of chaos” and vowed prosecutions, while Prime Minister Lecornu blamed “extremely violent, radical far-left groups.”
The police watchdog is investigating at least two dozen allegations of police violence, and Amnesty International has criticized the use of force against minors. The unrest comes six months before France’s presidential election, with Macron deeply unpopular and similar protests spreading across Belgium, Portugal, Italy, and Albania.
It is a structural failure of a fiscal model that treats austerity as the answer to every crisis and then acts surprised when the people who bear the cost of that austerity stop accepting it quietly.
France is on high alert, and @EmmanuelMacron will address the French people in 6 hours.
