My good friend, Hanifa Nakiryowa, @hanakiryowa has lit a fire. As a young Muslim girl in Uganda she was held hostage by her Economics professor at an elite University: “sleep with me or you will not graduate”. That was how she was forced into a violent, abusive marriage. When she took her two little girls and fled for her life, he sent a man to her home to come out of the shadows and melt her face with acid. More than a hundred surgeries later, Hanifa is still standing up for herself & all victims of acid attacks, while the man who did this to her is still teaching at the same University in the Ugandan capital, Kampala. Rather than live in shame, Hanifa lifted her Muslim veil years ago to show her scars and her pain. She started a movement then that has erupted today with the publishing of her story in a book called “Hanifa”. Now girls and women across Uganda & other African countries are stepping forward to demand justice for Hanifa & themselves, revealing a deeply-rooted system of academic coercion using sexual bribery & rape at Mkerere University, the Harvard of Uganda. Now the man who got away with attempted murder of Hanifa is exposed as the university continues to cover for the sexual predators embedded in its academic ranks.
Hanifa found refuge years ago in America and is now a citizen. She has raised two spectacular young women on her own. But she has never turned her back on her home or the victims of acid attacks and with the little she has, does everything she can to help through her foundation, CERESAV.
We met a long time ago and I was captivated by her courage and her strength. It is inspiring to stand next to her and with her and feel that you are in the presence of a warrior who was a victim for a moment, but not for life.
In spite of the scars that still torment, she is beautiful. In spite of her suffering, she has peace. She knows who she is and has never let fear or violence strip her of her sanity or her joy.
I urge you to find her book “Hanifa” on Amazon, perhaps sign the petition if you feel so inclined and consider that all over the world, right now, this is happening to someone else. Acid attacks are rising across the west and America is no exception.

This whistleblower described unaccompanied children screaming, begging & clinging to the contractors who were paid by the Biden Admin to deliver them to their “families”. They were under orders not to engage with the children but were so disturbed they filed official reports with their supervisors. A 25-year-old woman was abducted at gunpoint and forced into the back seat of a car.
Desperate for someone to notice, she locked eyes with two teenage boys in another vehicle and silently mouthed two words… “Help me.”
17-year-old Jamal Harris and 19-year-old Aaron Arias immediately called 911 and began following the car.
The driver realized they were behind him and started speeding up, slowing down and swerving through traffic trying to lose them. But Jamal and Aaron stayed with him, continuously updating police on where the car was going.
They knew if they lost sight of it, the woman could disappear.
Police eventually caught up, surrounded the vehicle and arrested the driver. The woman was finally safe, and later embraced the teenagers who had noticed her silent plea and refused to look away.
Jamal and Aaron were just out driving that day. But because they paid attention and kept following when it would have been easier to turn away, a kidnapped woman made it home safely.

Elon @elonmusk I spent 10 years researching this book and years writing it. It’s a comprehensive account of the Grand Conspiracy against President Trump. As a professional historian, I studied thousands of documents to write a 200,000 page book plus sources. I have not slept for the last few months editing it. In 2005, Oneida shut the flatware factory in Sherrill, New York.
A town that had made silverware for MORE THAN 100 YEARS was supposed to be finished.
Two men refused to let that happen.
Their names are Matt Roberts and Greg Owens.
Roberts had managed that factory. Owens was another former Oneida manufacturing manager. When the company ended U.S. production, they bought the plant and the equipment and reopened it the NEXT DAY as Sherrill Manufacturing.
They did not have a giant rescue fund.
They did not have a Hollywood ending waiting.
They had a building, some machines, and a workforce that knew how to make forks, knives, and spoons.
At first they kept making product for Oneida.
Then Oneida pulled the remaining American work and sent it overseas.
That should have been the end.
It wasn’t.
They took government flatware contracts to keep the lights on. In 2010 they filed Chapter 11. They sold unused equipment. They sold space they could no longer fill. They leased back only the part of the factory they could still run.
They came out of bankruptcy in 2013.
Then they did the thing that saved the company.
They built their own brand: Liberty Tabletop.
They sold 18/10 stainless flatware straight to customers who wanted tableware MADE IN THE UNITED STATES.
Not through a department store that could drop them overnight.
Direct.
Today Liberty Tabletop is the only company still manufacturing stainless steel flatware in America.
Same town.
Same trade.
U.S. steel.
About 70 jobs.
They did not bring back 2,000 workers. Nobody did.
What they saved was the last line.
If you want American-made forks and spoons, this is the factory that still makes them.

When Hurricane Katrina drowned New Orleans in 2005, the federal government froze.
FEMA had no plan. Bureaucrats demanded forms. Police blocked roads.
You know who saved thousands of Americans?
A bunch of duck hunters with beer bellies and pickup trucks from the Louisiana swamps.
They called themselves the “Cajun Navy.”
Eighty percent of New Orleans was submerged under fifteen feet of toxic, sewage-filled water.
Thousands of elderly people and children were baking on rooftops in 95-degree heat, screaming for help that wasn't coming.
Officials were issuing warnings: “Do not enter. Unsafe. You don't have authorization.”
Down in the bayous of Lafayette and Houma, men looked at their TV screens, walked out to their sheds, and hooked their 14-foot flat-bottom fishing boats to their Chevy trucks.
They didn't ask for permission.
They didn't ask for gas money.
They didn't check who was Democrat or Republican, Black or White.
Hundreds of swamp boys drove straight into the disaster zone with shotguns, flashlights, and coolers of water.
When local authorities tried to turn them back at checkpoints, they ignored the deputies, launched their johnboats into the floodwaters from highway overpasses, and followed the cries in the dark.
They dodged live power lines and submerged cars.
They cut holes through rooftops with chainsaws.
They hauled shivering grandmothers, newborn infants, and abandoned dogs into their boats for days without sleep.
No government badge.
No paycheck.
Just regular American rednecks who refused to let their neighbors drown.
God bless the Cajun Navy. That is what makes this country unbreakable. 🇺🇸🛶
