Why exactly am I obsessed with Ogbomoso? Well, for starters, I'm a son of the soil. 😌 But beyond the obvious hometown bias, I genuinely believe some of the greatest things can come out of places the world isn't paying enough attention to. Ogbomoso is one of those places. Sometimes I'm very surprised about how much talent we have here. There's a lot of ambition. There's also a huge population of young people hungry to build something meaningful. What we don't have is enough visibility, enough access, enough opportunities and enough people stubborn enough to keep building here. I want to be one of those people. I'm not waiting until everyone discovers Ogbomoso before we start doing great things here. I want us to build until they have no choice but to notice. Confluence is one piece of that. Of course there's a bigger ambition... which is to help turn Ogbomoso into a serious technology and innovation hub; our own little Silicon Valley, built from the soil up.

144 of you believe in what we're building and are willing to build this with us. 🤯 Welcome onboard to all selected volunteers. Let's build! 💪🏽

We're live! Let's talk #Confluence2026

Funny how life works. This picture just reminded me of what days of little beginnings look like. At some point, I was just a guy interested in the blockchain technology. Then somehow: I became a community builder, started organizing crypto events, poured myself into crypto education for thousands of people in my local ecosystem (did this for years), connected hundreds of students to global opportunities in the industry, transitioned into building developers, became a founder in the industry... Now I'm convening the largest grassroot student-led Blockchain conference in Africa by @BlockchainLAUT1 and I'm sitting here thinking about how to bring thousands of people to Ogbomoso. Who gave me this responsibility? 😂

I’ve decided to spend the next 30 days talking about the things I’m building. Because sometimes you spend so much time building that you forget to tell people what exactly you’re building. Confluence is coming. Blockchain LAUTECH is building. And I have a lot to say. Let’s begin.
