100 miles this week.
There’s something beautiful about seeing how far your body and mind can take you when you stop putting limits on yourself.

Absolute legend
Surprised the bro @nicolasasommo at the Hartford Marathon today.
First time meeting in person after connecting through Twitter.
I ran the half marathon, but the highlight was being at the finish line to witness him hit his sub 3 marathon goal. Hard work pays off! 🦾🫡
Hartford Half marathon today. Everything was going great until I tripped over a hanger and hit the ground 🤣.
Didn’t matter though. Sometimes you just gotta laugh, shake it off, and keep pushing.
Quitting was never an option. 🦾🫡

10 miles in Montego Bay this morning 🇯🇲
People might think you’re crazy for training while you’re away, but maybe “normal” was never the goal.
Keep separating yourself. Stay in that 1%😤
Dress how you want to be addressed. Even the smallest occasion is still an occasion to present yourself well. Looking put together changes how you carry yourself, how people receive you, and sometimes even how you feel about yourself.
After my divorce, I started paying attention to how I dressed. Back on the market. Watched videos, read articles, built my own style.
Simple logic: I never knew where I might meet someone. So I looked my best everywhere - even Walmart.
A couple years later, I visited a friend and his wife. Dinner. Good conversation. Nothing remarkable.
Recently, he told me I was one of the people who pushed him to get serious about fitness. After that dinner, his wife helped him level up his wardrobe.
Another friend reached out not long ago. Said I inspired him to get back on track with his health. He described me as older, polite, quiet, fit, and confident. And said he wanted that for his future.
I had no idea either of them was watching.
That’s how influence actually works.
Another Saturday long run. 20+ miles on back to back days.
They said I couldn’t do it. They must not know I’m a DAWG 😤
21 miles for breakfast today.
Picked up @hubermanlab Protocols and looking forward to learning more about performance, recovery, and longevity.
One quote Huberman shares from James Hollis “Shut up. Suit up. Show up.”
Keep learning. Keep working. Keep showing up.
Finishing the night at the 100TH annual
San Gennaro festival.
One of my biggest pet peeves.
Shut up.

You need to be delusional if you want to be successful because your goals shape what you perceive. You won't notice the rare opportunity or life path if your goal isn't so big that others think you are crazy.
HYROX DC with my fiancée ❤️
Couldn’t be prouder of her. She pushed through every station, kept fighting, and we beat our HYROX New York time by 7 minutes.
Another one in the books together.
Next up for her Nike After Dark Half Marathon in LA next month🫡
13 miles around DC this morning.
White House → Washington Monument → Reflecting Pool → Lincoln Memorial → Georgetown Waterfront → C&O Canal
Easy miles, good views. HYROX DC tomorrow. 🫡
Grateful for the progress August brought.
My highest monthly mileage yet, PRs in the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and 30K, plus my first 90+ mile week.
Started September with a solid 10 mile run this morning.
Still a lot of work ahead. Consistency over time does the heavy lifting.
