When we started implementing SVR, people asked what the expected revenue would be.
I said “eight figures”.
People laughed.
Less than a year has passed, and SVR is still not implemented across every asset and network, yet it has generated $8.2M so far.
Just Use Aave.
Since launching SVR on Aave, $8.2M has already flowed to @aave and @chainlink.
→ $5.3M for Aave
→ $2.8M for Chainlink
Both win.
Best duo in DeFi.

all that will change with chain abstraction and interoperability. the endgame is you don't have bridge to L2s, your assets move across L2s and the L1 like if ethereum is a single chain.

After seeing what was shipped around SmartCon, I wanted to dive deeper into @chainlink’s new CRE (Chainlink Runtime Environment) an orchestration layer for running verifiable workflows across any chain or data source.
Think AWS Lambda for Web3, but with Chainlink’s security and verification built in.
With CRE you can:
🧩 Write workflows in Go or TypeScript
🔗 Combine “capabilities” on-chain + off-chain logic
🤖 Connect APIs, AI models, and onchain protocols
⚡ Build in hours, not weeks
Example?
A prediction market that automatically settles using Google Gemini AI.
When an event happens, CRE triggers → calls Gemini → analyzes real-world data → writes a verified result on-chain to instantly settle market.
No manually spun up oracles. No centralized backend.
Just decentralized compute, verified results, and fully automated execution.
This is a game-changer for developers building tokenization platforms, AI-powered markets, and externally connected DeFi protocols.
The Chainlink Runtime Environment is live now.

New patent drop while I was in NYC for smartcon.
It’s $LINK's Risk Management Network (RMN), and it explains exactly how they plan to keep CCIP bulletproof as it starts moving real institutional money.
Separate network.
Separate codebase.
Separate trust domain.

Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) is now live. Here's a 101 video that I made with NotebookLM to illustrate what it is.
"We are moving from a world of slow, siloed financial systems, to one where any asset, any piece of value, can be programmed and connected to any other system. The question is no longer if this is going to happen, but what are we going to choose to build in this new hyperconnected world."
We’re excited to announce the launch of the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE)—the all-in-one orchestration layer powering the next massive leap in the adoption of onchain finance.

CRE is already being adopted by the largest financial institutions and top DeFi protocols to simplify how they build institutional-grade smart contracts that enable the next stage of our industry 🧵⬇️
