Konnor Griffin made his big league debut at shortstop for Pittsburgh on April 3 and doubled in a run in his first at bat. Within a week the Pirates gave him nine years and $140 million.
He was 19. It's the largest guarantee in Pirates history, more than $30 million past Bryan Reynolds' old record.
Two years before that he was a Mississippi high schooler the Pirates took ninth overall in the 2024 draft.
Which contract on here aged the worst?

Nick Saban's Five Enemies of Greatness is always worth a read. He didn't write these, but they're a solid short list of his coaching philosophy throughout the years...
Ingest them for your team, and ingest them for yourself.
The 5 Enemies..keep them away from you.

How did my 2026 MLB breakout picks turn out?

Which projections were best in 2026?
On whiffs.org I've added summary tables! I'm not crowning champions, but the list is roughly sorted.
I also added a dumb aggregate to the competition, which did very well.

Crying in baseball is allowed today. This was a perfect exit for future first ballot Hall of Famer Justin Verlander. So awesome.
