#Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season after several blood clots were revealed in his lungs, has been undergoing tests for days. Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played without having slept.

How committed is Jalen Hurts to football? After initially being diagnosed with a superficial blood clot in London, doctors told him not to sleep as a precaution, so he had been awake for roughly 36 hours when he started against the Jaguars, throwing for 220 yards and a TD.

The Eagles played 79 snaps on defense against the Panthers. They have now played 70+ defensive snaps in 5 of 6 games this year. In 2025, they played 70+ defensive snaps in 6 of 17 games. In the 2024 Super Bowl season they played 70+ just 3 times all season.

The Eagles are now 2-4 and scheduled to play two straight primetime games – next week vs. the Cowboys on "Monday Night Football, and Week 8 vs. the Commanders on "Sunday Night Football." Birds are scheduled to play in seven more standalone games this season, four in primetime.
