Blazorise 2.4 is out!
This release is mostly about improving what we already have. We rebuilt Tooltip and ColorPicker in Blazor, removed old dependencies, improved UI providers, and made fluent utilities much faster.

Release of .NET 11 is just around the corner s𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐒𝐏.𝐍𝐄𝐓 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐫.

Recently we had to do a major update to our color system.
It all started as a request to fix arbitrary colors.
That led us to rethink how the Color parameter works in general and that led to the development of our color system in its current state.
We found an interesting issue in Blazorise NumericPicker.
The scenario seemed simple.
The component receives a new value.
Internally, the new value is there.
But the input still shows the previous value.
So… which value is telling the truth? 🤔
We’re heading into October full steam ahead!
With Blazorise 2.4 just around the corner and a complete redesign of the Blazorise website, we are happy to share the details of Blazorise 2.3.3, another maintenance update for 2.3 but still as relevant.

Client: “Lets build a Gantt component from scratch.”
Us: “Sure, why not.”
**Wait…
How do we handle dates; pixels?
Zoom levels?
Dragging and resizing?
Dependencies?
Time zones and DST?
What about…
10,000 tasks without lag?
Virtualization?
Undo/redo?
Keyboard accessibility?**
At some point, a few seconds after usually, you realize the kind of job that is awaiting you.
Its not just some bars on a timeline, you need to build a spreadsheet, a calendar, graph editor, scheduling engine and graphics system.
The good news?
We built it.
If you’re starting one of our Education courses anytime soon, you’ll be happy to know that completing all the tasks and successfully finishing a course will earn you an official Blazorise certification 🏆
Happy learning!
