@harald_murphy since you’re the expert for long distance driving and preventing filter clogging, how do you find the best way to clean the inlet mesh? Strong vacuum?
Thanks @harald_murphy. I’ll try the brush trick. I managed to get most of it off with the pressure washer at an angle. It looked like most of it came off outside the air intake. Glad I got that mesh filter installed TBH.

Next time you are reviewing an Ideas grant and consider ROPE. Consider this inherent bias in funding rates. Less funds = less preliminary data, less continuity of research careers, less job opportunities for young scientists in WA. This is compounded over decades.

Our latest research with @ry_lister and @bogdanoviclab about the birth of a novel epigenomic layer is out in @NatureEcoEvo. We found that the neural non-CpG methylation system originated in the last common ancestor of vertebrates. 1/4 nature.com/articles/s41559-0…
