Sarah Helm, the wife of Britain's national security adviser, Jonathan Powell, took flak last week after appearing to support Palestine Action, the banned terror group, on Twitter. The police looked, but took no further action. The Spectator can reveal that there is vastly more material, far more controversial than this, in Helm's tweets. Helm has defended Hamas, questioned reports of mass rape by the terror group, blamed the 7 October attacks on the creation of Israel in 1948, compared Israel to the Nazis, and appeared to praise Syria's then dictator Bashar al-Assad for remarks in which he had called the Jewish state an 'outlaw colonial entity' populated by 'herds of settlers that are closer to barbarism than to humanity.' She has also called for western military intervention against Israel and attacked her husband's own government for its 'complicity' and 'appeasement' towards Tel Aviv. Here are some of the highlights. ✍️ Andrew Gilligan Article | spectator.com/article/reveal… | @mragilligan

OBSCENE. Britain is a failed state which no longer protects its people. Member of an Isis squad which beheaded a British charity worker casually does his shopping on our streets. But go ahead, prosecute the SAS which hunted those fiends!
🚨NEW: An Islamic terrorist who was part of the Al Qaeda unit who beheaded British man Ken Bigley has been pictured free to walk the streets after being released from prison having served six months of a two-year sentence for illegally crossing the English Channel

Fucking hell, they just did it! The BBC actually described the Islamo-leftist riots burning France to the ground as “MOSTLY PEACEFUL”! But Danny Tommo puncturing a people smuggling boat is terrorism to them. Defund them NOW!

Is a visit to Israel enough to put you on the radar of the UK police as a possible extremist threat? Holly Passmore is a mother of two in County Durham and is also a postgraduate student studying Holocaust studies. She is not Jewish. She posts on X as @MummyisT, where she has built a following of around 29,000. After October 7 she increasingly spoke out against antisemitism. The Israeli embassy invited her to visit Israel as part of a group of British journalists and social media influencers. While in Israel, she visited Kfar Aza, a kibbutz in southern Israel, near the Gaza border. It was one of the communities attacked by Hamas on October 7. Dozens were killed there and others, including British-Israeli hostage Emily Damari, were taken into Gaza. After that trip, the 44-year-old got a knock on her door from police after an anonymous referral to Prevent — the UK government’s counter-extremism program designed to stop people being drawn into terrorism — for “over-identifying with Israel.” The police asked her why she was interested in “Jewish issues” because County Durham “isn’t a Jewish area.” They asked if she’d been to Auschwitz and queried her about any links to Israel and whether she planned to go back. She later learned her NHS records were quietly marked “vulnerable adult” days after she had returned from Israel, without any assessment or notification. That's a label that suggests cognitive impairment and risk of exploitation. it was removed months later, again without telling her. Police records later admitted there was no counter-terror concern with supporting Israel as a democracy or traveling there. This is institutional antisemitism in 2026 Britain. Interest in Jewish history, Jewish friends, or a democratic ally is treated as a potential radicalization pathway. Meanwhile the people who celebrate October 7, glorify Hamas, and target Jews face far less urgency. Prevent was meant to stop people being drawn into terrorism. The system knows the difference. It chooses not to care.

The stories @BBCWorld somehow just doesn't see.
xitter.cf/IsraelMFA/status… The UN is in panic mode after Israel released videos from Gaza’s security cameras showing Hamas employees of UNRWA torturing Gazan civilians to death. Among the prisoners who were killed there are many innocent gay people, journalists, protesters, Christians and anyone suspected of spying or leaving Islam (ex-Muslims). This is what the UN, the international community and the Western media support when they side with Hamas, Gaza’s Health Ministry and UNRWA. Please retweet if you care about human rights!

To every American, and to everyone watching France burn from abroad: Do not blame the French people for this. We never asked for it. We never voted for it. And the one time we were clearly asked, we said no. Here are the numbers your media won't show you. 70% of the French say there are too many immigrants in France today. 79% want a tougher immigration policy. 77% disapprove of the government's record on immigration. 83% want foreign criminals and long-term unemployed foreigners sent home. And no, it's not just the old. 69% of French 18 to 24 year olds support suspending legal immigration for three years. This is not a fringe. This is the French people. In 2005, we were asked if we wanted the European Constitution. 55% voted no. Three years later, our politicians passed the same text under another name, through parliament, without ever asking us again. That is modern France in one sentence. The people say no. The elites do it anyway. So who is responsible? The politicians who lied to us. A class of leaders formed in the same schools, the same forums, the same networks, loyal to each other before they are loyal to their nations. In 2017, at Harvard, Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, bragged about his Young Global Leaders program in four words: "We penetrate the cabinets." He added that it was true in France. Emmanuel Macron was one of his Young Global Leaders. It's the same project in Brussels with Ursula von der Leyen and in Paris with Macron. Borders treated as an obstacle. Nations treated as relics. The people treated as a problem to be managed. What you are watching in France is not the French people failing. It is the end of the globalist project, an abject, quasi-communist dream of a world run by unelected planners. It is collapsing everywhere in Europe at once, and the West has to cut this cancer out before it takes the rest of the body with it. The peoples of Europe don't want this. They never did. So when you see our town halls burning, don't say "the French chose this." The French never chose this. They were forced into it. If you're French and you agree, repost this so the world hears it from us. If you're American, look at us carefully. Then choose differently on November 3rd.

Just a reminder that France recognised the state of "Palestine," banned Israeli ministers from entering France & announced national measures to prohibit trade in goods from Israeli settlements. Pro-Palestine activists still burnt down parts of France. Appeasing them never works.

She also thinks - as she said on Bloomsday that - since she believes Israel ( and US) responsible for rise of European fascism, " the liberation of Palestine really does represent the liberation of the world." So destroy Israel and the world will be free. Right. Of course.
