As I sit at the Cafe de la fontaine at Kings cross as I do often for coffee, I cannot help but notice the gradual decrease in business here and at the businesses nearby. Staff is already being shed but what are our local parliamentarians saying about it? Nothing! Tanya Plibersek is Labor so she is tongue tied but Allegra Spender? With further interest rate rises this situation will not get better soon. Even my favorite tennis club is seriously feeling the pinch. We are in a cost of living crisis. This is occurring in what some economists regard as one of the wealthiest countries on the planet and in the Potts Point Rushcutters Bay area, one of the wealthiest demographics in Sydney!!! #costofliving @AlboMP @tanya_plibersek @spenderallegra

Albo and Chalmers think the way to generate income is to increase taxes & public sector & finance it from taxation of the productive sector & increase debt????They are destroying Utopia. Albo learnt nothing from Uni economics degree and Chalmers even less from Keating.
The longer the Albanese led government remains in power the greater the number of poor decisions mount up. The current government lacks vision and a coherent strategy to increase productivity and create a cooperative caring society living within its means.
Now that I know more about the budget it is clear I have been misled by Chalmers budget speech. This budget is a tax grab by a dishonest government who hide in the detail of the budget papers. Heaven help us.
What a mess the NDIS is. Could the government be any more incompetent? I feel sorry for the 160000 people who will be shed.
