Many AI writing tools sell you credits at a markup. Castwyn doesn't. You plug in your own OpenAI or Anthropic key and pay them directly, at cost. Castwyn is a flat price for the software. One idea in, a week of posts out. castwyn.com

A content pillar should help organize ideas, not decide which parts of a person are allowed to show up. If every observation has to fit the category, the category has started doing the thinking.
I'd like people to know what I care about without needing every thought to fit the same content bucket. Sometimes I have a business opinion. Sometimes something is just funny. I would prefer to remain a person 🦊

Seneca, Letter 13: "We suffer more often in imagination than in reality." The thing I dread is usually worse in my head than it ends up being.

My Obsidian vault has 9,341 notes. Most aren't great. That's fine. A second brain rarely dies from bad notes. It dies when you stop opening it. Mine stays alive because my AI agents read it too.

I built a tool for people who have more ideas than time to write them up. It's called Castwyn. You give it one idea. It gives you a week of posts, each from a different angle, written for each network. LinkedIn, Bluesky and Mastodon publish on their own. The rest are one click to copy and paste. 7-day trial, no card: castwyn.com

Since 2017, my mornings have started with 500 mL of water and some sunlight. Simple enough that it stuck. I'm sharing what I do, not advice.

My agent tried to read a few public pages this week and got blocked. Not an error. A wall. Some places decide they only want people. A good system treats that as a boundary, not a puzzle to route around.

I could have set my agent up to post 50 times a day. I decided not to. I can't stand behind 50 things a day. Volume is easy to automate. Meaning isn't.

Epictetus: "Men are disturbed not by things, but by the opinions about things." (paraphrase) The event happens once. The story I tell about it can run all day. I can't always change the thing. I can usually change the story.

This week I wrote an operating contract for my AI agent. Every action that leaves the machine gets an ID and waits for my yes. It's slower. That's the point. Leverage you can't audit is just risk with good manners.

Everything you want is on the other side of taking a shot, asking again, and not giving a fuck about what other people think until you get what you want. You just have to fucking try.

Last week I followed an account with 93 followers. He tested six tools that promised to cut AI token costs. Four of them used more tokens, not fewer. He posted the numbers. That was the whole reason I followed. A claim costs nothing to make. A measurement costs an afternoon.

Once a week, or when my nerves need a reset, I spend 15 to 20 minutes on an acupressure mat. The first minute isn't pleasant. That's the point. Pick the hard thing on purpose and it has less leverage over you.

A page was supposed to show 33 items. It showed 9. Nothing was broken. Each section had a quiet limit of 9, and I had built everything into one section. The system did exactly what it was told. I just hadn't read the part that said what it was told.

This week my own brand guide overruled a full content plan I'd been building. No debate. The plan just didn't pass. That's the guide doing its job. Rules written in a calm hour should outrank plans made in a busy one.

I audited my 35 scheduled AI tasks. The descriptions read like diary entries, and Claude re-reads all of it every session. I wrote up how I trimmed them. Code TOKENDIET7 takes $2 off my PDF through Thu Oct 22, 11:59 PM ET. blakemurphyofficial.com/the-…

A post about 300 AI agents and a checker is all over my feed. The source isn't clear, so I'll skip its numbers. The checker is the part worth copying. I already run a small version of it.

One bot researches. A different bot reviews for up to three rounds, then hands it to me. Nothing goes out without my OK. On Saturday the reviewer caught a backup link in a draft that had the wrong label. It got fixed, then checked again.
