What is the role that the press secretary plays for the president’s administration? Serving at the pleasure of the president, he or she must demonstrate day in and day out that they are capable of turning glass into sand with their teeth so the president can lead the people, both domestic and foreign, with out being cut by the media. And the media’s job is to keep the president accountable, regardless of his political party, by throwing glass at him day in and day out so that he always remembers he serves at the pleasure of the people. Anyone want this job? The pool of people who can do the necessary work is infinitesimally small. It’s almost as hard as being the president because you must be able to be the public face of the president, yet you have no inherent power, get no respect and chew glass. Props to those who have served as press secretary well. And no hard feelings for @KatieZacharia . It’s not you, it’s the job. It sucks and it is darn near impossible. @pdoocy its time for you to step up brother. You can do it! Call @POTUS and demand that he consider you for the next press secretary. Do it for America!!!🫡🇺🇸
