Dear Dark Matter writers, I swear you better NOT kill Laurel! IDC what y’all have planned, just leave that woman ALONE! She’s so kind and helpful, letting people from other dimensions use her house as a safe haven. She deserves to LIVE!🙏🏾 #DarkMatter

Was lucky enough to see all of #DarkMatter Season 2 and this may be one of my favourite tv shows ever. So introspective and personal while also tackling some insane concepts. One of the episodes has an ending that I haven’t stopped thinking about since seeing it.

(9) The score was composed and recorded with a live orchestra by Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot fame).... except one piece... Górecki - Symphony No. 3 "Symphony of Sorrowful Songs". This begins when Jason meets Maria in the bookstore. I listened to this piece continuously while writing it

(10) finally... Originally, there were going to be 5 or 6 additional Jasons staying at the house, but it became far too time consuming to shoot that many Jasons so we simplified it to three.

(5) Most scripts for one hour shows are between 50 and 60 pages. The script for this one, because of how little dialogue (even ASL) there was, was 29 pages.

(2) Maria's Bookshop in 2.05 is based on Maria's bookshop in my hometown of Durango, CO. In fact you can order signed and personalized copies of any of my books for them. Famously (in our town at least) no one named Maria has ever worked at Maria's bookshop.

The most recent episode of #DarkMatter was a one-off, and that's what made it amazing. I compare it to a similar episode of HBO's #TheLastOfUs because what some people think of as "filler episodes" are the best of what TV can do. cbr.com/apple-tv-dark-matter…
