You can actually see the gears moving at the moment amongst #Democrats. The reason #Republicans won the election is because they focused on unscripted podcasts and interviews with content creators, which enabled them to reach eyes that typically don't watch the news, where Democrats were involved in heavily scripted interviews. In the end, Republicans came across as realistic and genuine, and Democrats came across as fake. Look at it this way, Trump during podcasts was saying that America was in a bad way due to failed Democrat leadership. This message resonated with the average person struggling to make ends meet. Meanwhile, the Democrats were pushing the message of 'Joy' during record homelessness and a cost of living crisis. Which do you think comes across as more realistic and genuine, more relatable to the average person? It didn't help that Democrats were ridiculing Trump for stating the country was in a bad place. So, to me, it's not surprising whatsoever to learn that people high up in the left-wing sphere have begun to create their own podcasts. Michelle Obama and even King Charles, for example. No doubt, this will be used in the next election cycle to reach eyes that are less likely to watch the news, with no doubt tailored and scripted interviews taking place on them. Right now, they're just trying to build up a rapport. But unfortunately, this still won't work for Democrats. An increasingly digital world has trained a lot of people to identify when someone is being genuine or not in the online space. You see people being exposed all the time these days. Moving scripted interviews to podcasts and content creation isn't going to take away from that fake feeling of it all. If you want to win in that space, then you have to be honest, truthful and genuine... and I know for a fact that they've gone so far into their lies that they would never be able to do that. Watch this space, I've no doubt in my mind that left-wing podcasts and content creators are going to increase in number and size and become as mainstream as Joe Rogan's podcast - especially with the media's help.
