Mo Gilligan has become the inaugural recipient of the South London Icon Award, as the South London Film Festival marks the conclusion of its sixth edition at Picturehouse Ritzy in Brixton.
The new honorary award recognises an individual with meaningful connections to South London whose work has made a significant contribution to film, television, culture or the wider creative industries, while inspiring future generations.
A new documentary, Damilola: The Untold Story, will air on BBC Two this October, looking back at the life of Damilola Taylor and the impact his death had on those around him.
Damilola: The Untold Story airs on BBC Two on Monday 5 October at 9pm.

Kylian Mbappé leaves Nike to join On
Kylian Mbappé has parted ways with Nike after a long-standing partnership and joined Swiss sportswear brand On as it enters football.
The move brings an end to a relationship with Nike that dates back to 2006, when Mbappé was still a child, and comes as On prepares to launch its first-ever football boots in 2027.
