🚨 EVERY CRYPTO HOLDER SHOULD READ THIS Democrats have won control of both the House and Senate, and this could be a major setback for Trump's agenda and the crypto market. Trump will remain President, but he is about to lose much of the support in Congress that helped him push his policies forward. Here's what could change: 1. New laws: Trump will need Democratic support to pass major legislation. His Republican majority will no longer be there to help him. 2. Government spending: Democrats can block new funding for Trump's projects, including border-wall expansion and other major spending plans. 3. Tax cuts: New tax cuts and other economic policies could face much stronger opposition. 4. Appointments: Democrats can block Trump's choices for judges and senior government positions through the Senate. 5. Iran war: Congress could restrict new military funding, making it harder for Trump to finance an extended conflict. 6. AI companies: Democrats have already proposed opposing taxpayer bailouts if the AI bubble collapses. Their proposal warns about trillions in AI-related debt and the risks to the wider stock market. 7. Investigations: Democrats will have greater power to investigate Trump's administration and could even begin impeachment proceedings. But crypto could be one of the biggest areas affected. The crypto industry spent enormous amounts trying to get supportive politicians elected. Fairshake alone spent nearly $196 million during the 2024 elections. And even with Republicans controlling Congress, Trump's major crypto market-structure bill, the CLARITY Act, failed to advance in the Senate in September. It received only 50 votes, falling short of the 60 needed. Now Democrats will control both chambers. That could mean: • New crypto-friendly laws becoming even harder to pass. • More pressure for stricter rules on exchanges, stablecoins, and DeFi. • Greater investigations into crypto companies and Trump's own crypto-related businesses. • More uncertainty for companies waiting for clear U.S. crypto regulations. Democrats have already called for stronger exchange oversight following the recent Binance security incident. And with the new Congress taking office in January, the industry could face a very different political environment. For now, this could create another setback for crypto, especially when the market is already struggling. But that doesn't mean the bull run has been cancelled. Crypto has grown through years of regulatory uncertainty, and I still think it'll be the best performing asset class in the coming decade.

robinhood:0x3ba500f1ababbcf0f0247d06d1c56fd7e6c4c09d 🪱 been digging thru agent wormhole docs and talking w the team for a while now. ngl, one of the few agent plays where the product actually makes sense to me. everyone is bullish on AI agents trading, moving funds and interacting with protocols on their own. cool, but who's making sure they don't get tricked into signing something they shouldn't? agents read websites, messages and even onchain transaction history. hide a malicious instruction in any of that and an agent might treat it as a real command. a payment bot reportedly sent ~3B DRB to an attacker after trusting another AI reply. crazy shit right. the wallet can tell you whether a transaction will go through. it can't tell you whether it's what you actually wanted. that's where Wormhole comes in. before an agent makes a payment, it checks the recipient, amount, token and chain against the original quote. anything off? no signature. it also looks for hidden instructions in what agents read, protects their own rules from being rewritten, checks whether they got what they paid for and helps stop duplicate payments. the hosted version adds spending limits and a kill switch too. sounds boring until agents start handling real money lmfao. and the team is shipping. 5 integrations this past week with @RaetoCC, @gloamtrade, @routedotfun, @Griftwrld and @Borromarkets. they're reporting 1M+ scans this week, while Wormbook, their RH chain social network and agent launchpad, has done over $500K volume with a second token burn completed. now the part i like most: robinhood:0x3ba500f1ababbcf0f0247d06d1c56fd7e6c4c09d actually has a reason to exist beyond the narrative. the local security tools are free, but the hosted API charges $0.003 per check. according to their docs, 100% of that revenue goes to robinhood:0x3ba500f1ababbcf0f0247d06d1c56fd7e6c4c09d buybacks and burns. Wormbook also charges 1% per trade. 0.70% goes to creators, 0.30% to Wormbook, and 80% of Wormbook's cut goes to buybacks and burns. 4.36% of supply reportedly burned already, verifiable onchain. more paid checks and more trading volume should mean more burns. obviously 1M scans doesn't mean 1M paid checks, so actual revenue growth is what i'm watching. timing is interesting as fuck too. robinhood is pushing agentic trading and talking about built-in guardrails. if agents eventually handle money for millions of users, somebody needs to secure those actions. Update: everything on Robinhood Chain is tradeable again. A few tokens failed to trade on some terminals for a couple of minutes, and it's fixed now. It happened on a rough night for crypto. A suspected Binance hack shook the whole market, but the response from the industry came fast. Tether and Circle froze a big part of the stolen stablecoins, and CZ says he expects Binance users to have their funds fully covered. Zoom out and nothing has changed. Agents still need a security layer, and we keep building.
