I'm commenting on thoughts I have about gun community topics, particularly the NRA since I'm a longtime life member.
Also, since I don't use the book of faces publicly, I may respond to some things I see there over here.
Smart sending finished earlier today. Higher open rates than what Grok says is standard for election-related emails. Woo hoo! And several requests for absentee ballots based on the tracked clicks. Looks like there may have been a couple of shares, too.
Already got an absentee ballot request link click from someone who mostly votes, but not always. (Only a fraction have gone out - it sends based on the times they are likely to open it based on past activity.)
Also see people are checking out other @NRA endorsement links...
It's amazing how few Board members ask any kind of follow up to determine how to best guide the ship. What programs are seeing growth & what is the growth in context to investment? How were staff accountable for funds spent on projects & trips?
Executive Committee meet: probably some cuts in the short term but if we’uns (that’d be NRA members & supporters) contribute – time, money - there is favorable growth of programs & membership in the future.
Rest was Executive Session.
So, vote & #joinNRA. #freedomssafestplace

BTW, if anyone who is leadership with a Pennsylvania gun club wants to do this, I am happy to share the script. Those files are from April, but most people don't change registration status often. You'll need a spreadsheet version of your club member list. DM for details.
This relates to a point that was left unchallenged (maybe it's too small & not nationally focused enough?) in the recent @TheReloadSite podcast about gun control spending in the elections - it was claimed they weren't running ads against @BrianFitzUSA. Except... 🧵
No way to equal
His money, but voting can cancel his antiAmerican antigun agenda.
Vote.

Bloomberg may not be naming @RepBrianFitz, but he's absolutely dumping big money to turn out the Dem voters in Fitzpatrick's district. As a woman, I'm getting slammed with ads on stuff they think I would like. Bloomberg is funding the gun control messages for turnout.
Finally pulled the trigger on a completely custom email to several hundred gun club members who don't reliably vote in midterms based on their voter registration districts. Getting a working script for the different counties was a PITA, but finally got it.
The final (final-ish?) version for this election left me with a much smaller group to verify manually than the version I started with.
Found out. The NRA's chosen partner here seems to have cut their support down to 1 woman. She's just way behind. She was helpful on the phone, but given that my request was going on a week with no answer, yeah. (Mine was for purchased & unshipped product.)
Someone needs to figure out what all is going on with NRA E&T and their partners. I got billed for products not shipped from materials center. Okay, no biggie, reach out via the published ways. No response after almost a week. Call? Not taking them during open hours.
I'd go ask on the instructor forum since these are teaching materials related to see if anyone knows what is up, but oh yeah, they took that down, too.
Be me.
Have a library card.
Learn there's a book about snipers in the Revolutionary War coming out next month.
Hop on to the library website & put in a purchase request so the local library will have a patriotic book about American owning guns.
Get message out everywhere.
I was just thinking today about sharing the recruiter link to recommend signing up for NRA in my club's private group with the mention of the pending fee increase.
But then I thought, "Why not rely on the cheerleader the Board member loves so much?"
