In 22 yrs through MVFC I've met Bosnians, Greeks, Asians, Chileans, Africans, Brits, teachers, lawyers, unionists, musos, socialists, bankers, ex-prisoners, conservatives, nurses, politicians, gays, academics, drug addicts & tradies.
A club for all Melburnians. That's the point.

I was 13 at the time Nick and even I could realise at that age the NSL had to fold.
Still, this is huge for the sport that the conversation has advanced this far between new and old. Was unthinkable a decade ago.
The reality is we will never have a full open pyramid, but an ALM2 is what everyone should be advocating for.
We also need to fix the entire NPL ecosystem as well which has become the wild wild west.
Now let’s hope tonight delivers and shows the immense potential of the beautiful game!

Was this the much-needed reset, though? This reflexive preface to every AL story must stop.
As for Rosich, in ⚽️ for 5 mins, how patronising. And a reality-check. No merit-based promotion. Process. Markets. %15M licence fee. Time for much-needed reset.

“However, I know I'll be at the ceremony one way or another – in person or in spirit.”
🚨 Sir Alex Ferguson reflects on mortality and his hopes of making the opening ceremony of Man United's new stadium in his new book, 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲:
"Every now and again, death crosses my mind. When United announced their plans for a fabulous new stadium to replace Old Trafford, I found myself wondering whether I would be around to celebrate its opening."
"I hope they get to break ground quickly, because if it takes five years to complete, I'll be pushing ninety. However, I know I'll be at the ceremony one way or another – in person or in spirit."
