🇳🇱 🇮🇱 THE NETHERLANDS PULLED OUT OF EUROVISION 2027 OVER ISRAEL’S PARTICIPATION.
Dutch broadcaster NPO announced last month that the country would return after boycotting Eurovision 2026. Around 400 public-broadcasting employees signed a letter opposing the comeback, and NPO failed to find a broadcaster willing to actually send a Dutch artist.
Now the return is dead.
NPO says Israel’s participation has become too divisive and that there simply isn’t enough support inside the Dutch broadcasting system to move forward. Eurovision itself says it respects the decision.
The Netherlands will still broadcast the contest.
