Announcement: Verde Mining is now Verde Gas Partners.
Where we came from
We started Verde Mining in 2021 by building and operating our own natural-gas-powered Bitcoin mining sites in Texas.
We sourced the gas, sized the generators, picked the miners and ran the sites day to day.
After making the expensive early mistakes, we ran our sites at over 98% uptime for more than four years.
Along the way, we spent four years training miners and operators to do the same.
Many of you know us from that work, from our conference talks, or from videos about our sites.
What changed
The people who came to us kept asking for the same thing: not more education, but access to gas.
Miners needed reliable, low-cost power.
Oil and gas companies had gas and needed a better way to turn it into revenue.
So that’s what we focus on now. Verde Gas Partners does two things:
• For Bitcoin miners: we source Waha-indexed natural gas so you can run on lower-cost power.
• For oil and gas companies: we help you get more from your gas, whether you want to sell the gas, sell power, host compute or own the compute outright. We bring the buyer, or we help you build the site.
We’ve retired our training program so we can put everything into these two offers.
If you’re a Bitcoin miner looking for gas, or an oil and gas company looking to get more from your gas, send us a DM.

I am excited to share with you all that I will be once again teaching bitcoin at USC in 2027.
Bitcoin is global, and most people still have no idea, whatsoever, what it is.
One student at a time.

We put everything you need to know to start running natural gas Bitcoin mining operations in the Permian Basin into a free playbook.
It's just 5 steps. From evaluating your gas to optimizing a running operation for 95%+ uptime.
It covers how to assess your gas quality and volume, size your equipment, build your financial model, commission your site, and keep it profitable.
Whether you're an oil and gas operator sitting on gas you can't get to market, a Bitcoin miner looking for cheaper power, or an investor trying to understand these opportunities, this is the roadmap.

We just launched a 5-part blog series that walks you through every step, from evaluating your gas to optimizing a running operation.
Built for oil and gas operators and Bitcoin miners, even if you know nothing about the other side.
You don’t even have to hold Bitcoin. Many operators convert to cash immediately.
You’re just unlocking more dollars for the same gas.

Billions of cubic feet of natural gas are flared or stranded every day because there’s no pipeline to take it.
There will be no May meetup.
But, check back soon as we will be back to our regular schedule shortly.
