I chose to dismiss the case, and the court has closed it without prejudice. I’m putting this behind me and focusing my energy on being productive, taking care of my family, and building what’s ahead. I’m not going to engage in public back and forth about private matters. Wishing everyone the best moving forward.

For transparency: earlier this year I filed a defamation case in Alaska Superior Court related to statements made about me online. The complaint and exhibits are part of the Alaska court record. Anyone interested in the details can request the filings directly from the Alaska Court System. After discussing the costs of continuing litigation with counsel, I may choose to withdraw the case and focus my energy on building going forward.

After months of false statements being made publicly about me and my work, a civil complaint has now been filed. I won't be engaging on this further and will let the Alaska court process address it.

A recent post was made containing false and defamatory statements about me and the Bitcoin Alaska Conference. I will not engage publicly in personal disputes or false claims. The matter has been documented and reported to law enforcement, with evidence already on file. Bitcoin Alaska remains focused on its mission — building education, opportunity, and innovation for Alaskans and the Bitcoin community. I appreciate the many messages of support. Great things are happening in Alaska!

To me, Bitcoin Alaska is unmatched on all counts. We have incredible speakers, beauty, brilliance, humanity, ingenuity, compounded with wildlife and the energy of water through tides and waterfalls that we were above and below throughout today. Every day I believe more and more that there is a greater power who looked down on us and helped our team build this into what a bitcoin conference should be. These guys are going to be in Juneau in July! Wish we had the hot tubs, but polar plunges are almost as good.
