We did not rely on Patreon for any funding and the Patreon was rarely advertised. Any funding from Patreon was directly reinvested into the project which abides by fan guidelines. Hasbro wants us shutdown because we can't pay their massive fee for the license.
It's very unfortunate. However in our opinion, we would rather go through this now with a year of work rather than go through it later with 5 or 10 years of work. Still, it's been an awesome journey.
Following a meeting with Hasbro, Transformers Fractured can no longer continue as the team cannot secure a commercial license from Hasbro. We thank everyone for their massive support to this project however disappointing it may be. A YouTube video will soon be released.
