MIDI / Chiptune fun using the Chip Player and @BitMidi projects. Both are amazing free music archives with a charm of their own. TODO: Still need to add claim support to conze.pt to access the Wikidata MIDI files (anthems, etc.). Link: conze.pt/explore/bach?l=en&t…

Yesterday I released a melody generator. The algorithm is the result of a decade of #algorave experimentation. Thanks to @feross for the timidity wasm port which powers the audio rendering. dopeloop.ai/melody-generator

"Impossible MIDI" aka "Black MIDI" is a little known art form that should be more widely known. Retweet to spread the word! 🌟 Grieg - In the Hall of the Mountain King youtube.com/watch?v=p_c6uQHl…

I just built a site to help you make a friend in 2 minutes! My goal is to help people stuck indoors because of COVID-19 (or police curfews) to make meaningful connections with strangers. Hope you love it! virus.cafe

Virus Cafe - Connect With People More Easily

Connecting with people was never easier unless chatting apps emerged. SMS text messages were the first of its type, which emerged 20 years ago.

A 94% deaf person has been using BitMidi (my music website side project) to teach himself how to play instruments. Incredible.

This is so inspirational. "I was born without ear canals so I was raised using a hearing aid all my life. I think it goes without saying that any hearing issues can be an added challenge when learning musical instruments, but I couldn't stop trying every single day to improve."

Truly my favorite part about this new Geocities archive is that they use @bitmidi's Timidity JS library to get the autoplaying MIDI to work. geocities.restorativland.org… Example: geocities.restorativland.org…
