KNOW YOUR BANDS Bit Gen is tomorrow! And we couldn't be more excited for our final band, @dompalombimusic's Game Night! Prepare your hips to swing to a variety of jazzy originals and covers that capture the vibe of playing games in a basement with your friends. See you soon!

Did you know that @ottobuddy has a backyard? Did you know there's a FOOD TRUCK in that backyard, and that they'll be slinging delicious dishes to keep your party tank full? Well, you do now!

KNOW YOUR BANDS Last up on our upstairs stage is @blcksgnl! When the spark ignites and the robot army comes online, this award-winning cyberpunk/synth metal band from Cincinnati will destroy all humans!

KNOW YOUR BANDS Bit Gen is a looooong day, but you're gonna want to make sure you save some headbanging energy for our second-to-last downstairs act, Super Monster Party (or don't, we're not your dad)! youtube.com/watch?v=hl9biyqu…

KNOW YOUR BANDS Next up downstairs, we have a VGM supergroup. Featuring members of Metroid Metal and Cheap Dinosaurs, Super Strikers is the house band for Brain Wave Productions, a record label that--get this--actually makes music for video games! youtube.com/watch?v=OwhpetVI…

KNOW YOUR BANDS Making a triumphant return to our upstairs stage is one-man powerhouse @watchoutforhsss! Layering NES and Game Boy chip sounds, WOFS creates darkly energetic tracks that pay homage to old video games and 80s films without taking things too seriously.

KNOW YOUR BANDS Now for something COMPLETELY different, it's @BlindEquation! Self-described as "emotional cybergrind" and "digital bliss," this Chicago three-piece combines poppy chiptunes with brutal metal vocals and drums that'll decimate our downstairs stage!

KNOW YOUR BANDS Our next act has been making amazing VGM covers with incredible guitar work for over twenty years, but somehow has never made it to our stage. Better late than never! We're so happy to welcome housethegrate to our upstairs stage! youtube.com/watch?v=QdgtcRWJ…

KNOW YOUR BANDS Outstanding lyricism with classic hip-hop turntablism and VGM-inspired beats, @MicMisfitz promise to bring an infectious energy to Bit Gen, and we are proud to welcome them for the first time to our downstairs stage!

KNOW YOUR BANDS We've got another set of Bit Gen newbies (so many new friends this year) in NIJI SAGA! A hyper-melodic power-pop-punk-chiptune blend bringing their unique blend of 8-bit video game melodies, anime-inspired guitar riffs, and punk energy to our upstairs stage.

KNOW YOUR BANDS Let's get a little weird with Unicorn Hole! This brutal nintendocore metal act from South Carolina returns to our downstairs stage to penetrate those most sensitive of orifices--your ears.

KNOW YOUR BANDS @biscoreband is VGM's most annoying goblin power couple (their words) that goes coast to coast to make funky tunes for you to score to (also their words). Catch them on our upstairs stage!

KNOW YOUR BANDS Can you believe @YouBredRaptors haven't played at Bit Gen since 2015?! It didn't seem right to us either, but we checked. We are so, so excited to have this terrific trio of masked maniacs return to the downstairs stage!

KNOW YOUR BANDS A new challenger approaches! Gracing Bit Gen for the first time, Peter Le x Depth Charge is a collaborative project from Virginia/DC that will bring high-energy instrumental arrangements to the upstairs stage!
