This is being indefinitely postponed due to the organiser's personal reasons.
There are currently no RSVPs but if you were planning on attending, keep an eye out for a future event! :D
Join us for the 3rd Socratic Seminar of BitDevs Joburg on 30 July. Same place — taking over The Bank 🏦😛

This is being postponed until the last Wednesday in July (30th) due to host availability. Apologies! Now there is more time to plan to attend!

Thanks to those who attended the meetup last night! We’re definitely going to stick to the Rosebank’s W17 “The Bank” for future events.
See you in a little over a month!

New BitDevs Joburg meetup. Pull in!

For transparency we’re eyeing Workshop17 @ The Bank in Rosebank instead of Sandton. 350 m walk from the Gautrain station and parking can be organised for meet ups in the evening definitely. Also has the facilities needed for the seminars 🧵
👋
We're aiming to get back into the swing of things in May. If you'd like to suggest topics for our next meet, then you can do so here: github.com/BitDevsJHB/bitdev…
If you're curious about what we covered last time, then check that out on our site: bitdevs.joburg/2023-06-08-so…
Thanks!
It’s not a normal social so we need a space conducive to socratic seminars and we need to limit external noise (so pubs/restaurants aren’t appropriate). @nexedworks will cover costs of the venue with an optional but encouraged contribution from attendees collected after the event
Yay or nay for the venue:

We’re looking at dates for this month’s BitDevs. Ideally in the final week and we’re going to try make it a bit earlier.
Just want to know which of these nights work best for the meets going forward.
