This all comes down to one thing, creating an illusion of something that isn't there.
The biggest issue we still face, is projects and marketing services continue to incentivise value based on viewing numbers and metrics.
Does it come down to a lack of knowledge, or an acceptance of how the space currently operates and the primary objective being to offer services and not be the one to change the status quo?
If people want viewing numbers, accounts can get 10k views a post for a fraction of what is being paid.
What will that get you as a project? Absolutely zero engagement, zero users, zero token holders. Zero value.
I've refused work in the last week because I won't play the view game.
Quality and genuine engagement should always come first, this is how value should be measured.
