Everyone wants another PEPE style runner, but nobody understands why PEPE happened. Back then, there was barely anything to trade onchain. Liquidity was concentrated, people had patience, and they actually HELD. And let's not pretend PEPE was some 100% organic miracle. There were claims of around 30% bundled supply. The difference was that a floor was built and people had bigger targets. Today, everyone wants to sell to the very next guy who buys after them. Our role models are guys who flip, flip, flip. Show me someone who held something from nothing to hundreds of millions. Maybe Unipcs? Even he gets called an insider whenever he wins. We've completely fucked up our psychology. Nobody wants to build a floor. Nobody wants to hold. Everybody wants to extract. And guess who's actually getting rich? The platforms and protocols collecting fees on every transaction. I dump on you. You dump on someone else. We all lose money while the platforms print. We don't have a liquidity problem alone. We have a conviction problem. Until we fix that, forget the next PEPE. We're just recycling the same money until there's nothing left to recycle.

Look at tapeout. One of the most interesting ideas I've come across lately. But since none of the tokens associated with it are sending, nobody gives a Fk Now rewind to the beginning of this year. Remember Moltbook? That AIagent Reddit bullshit? The whole thing felt like an absolute LARP, but the token was sending. Within days, it was pushing $100M+ and suddenly everyone became an expert on AI agents. "OMG, AGENTS ARE THE FUTURE!" Every token remotely associated with that narrative started pumping. Nobody cared whether the product actually worked. Nobody questioned the technology. Nobody asked whether it was sustainable. The chart was green, so the technology was revolutionary. Now look at tapeout. Potentially fascinating technology, interesting possibilities, but because the associated tokens aren't printing money, the entire narrative barely gets any attention. We don't use technology to determine which tokens deserve to pump. We use pumping tokens to determine which technology deserves our attention. A $100M market cap can make absolute bullshit look like the future. And a flat chart can make genuinely interesting innovation look irrelevant. We've reached a point where price action has replaced curiosity, research, and critical thinking. We don't discover narratives anymore. We wait for a green candle to tell us what to believe in. That's how fking backwards this market has become.

I think we give way too much credit and blame to PumpFun for everything that's right or wrong with meme coins. If they hadn't introduced unlimited token launches, somebody else would've come up with the same idea. Remember the old days? You'd buy a token and couldn't even sell it. Honeypots, rugs, all that painful bS. At least now you can buy knowing the token is generally tradable. Whether it survives is another story. Personally, I don't even feel encouraged to buy most new launches anymore. Get distracted for two minutes and your token is already at a $3K market cap. And people say, "Bro, it's still at $10K MC." Yeah, mfer, but if you bought at $100K, you're already down 90%. Now, credit where it's due. The crosschain USDC swaps are fantastic for Web2 normies who don't understand bridging, gas fees, and all that technical stuff Social trading? Great addition. The app itself? Beautiful. The product is improving. The shit we're trading is getting worse. What I'd genuinely love to see is a squad that picks an existing struggling token, diamond hands it, works its ass off building the community, and actually wins. That's what deserves a $1.5M reward. Not a competition where everyone launches and flips another million tokens just to chase the prize. Imagine if the competition only allowed tokens that existed before launch day. We already have thousands of communities still grinding, still building, still believing in their bags despite getting absolutely slaughtered. Imagine directing all that attention, liquidity, and energy toward reviving those communities instead of creating another mountain of disposable tokens. We don't have a shortage of meme coins. We have a shortage of reasons to hold them. Anyway, credit to PumpFun for making the experience better. I just hope the next evolution rewards conviction as much as speculation.
