When polled, Australians say 1/4 of our surplus should be spent building social housing. This is why a Citizens Assembly on housing is needed - to show government how important housing is and put some ideas back on the table. #housing #auspol theguardian.com/australia-ne…

Must we rely on govt contractors in crisis to voluntarily end their political donations? Surely they should all be banned, as in most OECD countries. Major political parties are unlikely to support a ban without community pressure. #auspol #donationreform afr.com/companies/profession…

Most evidence from big corporates is that companies are saving a fortune having some or all employees WFH (reduced absenteeism, reduced cost of providing offices, and increased productivity) so why shouldn’t wages be INCREASED based in this increased corporate profit?

Trying to pretend #LongCovid is a "syndrome" defined by a salad of a few symptoms reduces costs, hugely, for healthcare services and insurance companies. It risks leaving millions without access to care, disability benefits, and any available treatments.
