Birthday Research is discontinuing active support for Quantum Bridge. We're moving it into maintenance mode and will soon open-source the code for anyone to run, allowing for greater flexibility and decentralization as anyone can be empowered to operate their own bridge.

Once Quantum-Bridge is open sourced, please note that anyone who wishes to take over maintenance will need to provide their own liquidity injection for the tokens they support. This is a business decision by the parent company Cake Group.

Double-check the blockchain and recipient address before initiating any transactions. Specifically for EVM tokens, ensure that they are sent only to a MetaChain EVM address and not to an Ethereum address. Sending EVM tokens to an Ethereum address could result in loss of funds.

During the period of @defichain's hardfork, Quantum Bridge will also be temporarily paused (set as maintenance) to remove any uncertainties when users try to bridge their assets from Ethereum to DefiChain.
