*BRILLIANT*
The French made a short film about what could happen after all immigrants would follow the ‘_white, angry old man’s_’ advice to go back where they came from.*
Seeing a grey sky, listening to the falling rain at night is an immense relief after a scorching month of heat, continuosly approx 40C at noon, humidity at 75%, water and electricity cuts, long lines of people queuing for mineral water in #Tunisia . #climatechange, #heatwave,
40C, humidity 76%, loadshedding and a shortage of mineral water in #Tunis. The new heatwave is stressing everibody. Only 1 sixpack of #water allowed in the supermarkets. People queue for it. After 10 am it is gone. @minaguli @RunBlueOfficial
The ongoing heat wave in #tunis stresses everybody with power cuts and water shortage. Supermarkets sell only up to 3 sixpacks of water per customer. #heatwave #climatechange
The solid stone walls of my #Tunis home and the lovely old trees surrounding it allow me to still comfortably enjoy the summer without an AC, while power cuts and water shortages stress out ordinary residents of Tunis. The scorching heat of 47C requires urban planning!
Adventure @DB_Bahn : a nocturnal thunderstorm wreaks havoc with timetables ++ technical issues with carriages = a simple trip from NRW to Berlin turns into an open end adventure trip.
Prof Veronika Grimm: Individual freedom is the basis for societal wealth #RzF2026
But it is not enough to discuss our own concept of freedom. We have to consider other concepts that prioritize stability and harmony, too. Despite differences, we need global cooperation.
I spent half of my day-off at some municipal office trying to pay my utility bills. 46 people before me in the line. Definitly my most favourite pass-time on a workfree day!
Clean, safe and comfortable to ride: a thumbs up for public transport in #rabat, Morocco
The best way to start a rainy April day after a stormy night: good morning #Tunis
For #WorldWaterRun 2026 I did a 10k sunset round at Sabkha Ariana, a seasonal wetland near #Tunis, which dries up in the summer and is a haven for hibernating migratory birds and flamingos in the winter. Endagered by urban development @RunBlueOfficial

The US air raids on #Iran don't come as a surprise. The regional scenario is scary. Is there an exit strategy, a plan for what should happen after the fighting? Too often in the past similar situations in the Middle East have just let to more instability.m.youtube.com/watch?v=R15nKE…
Wishing a peaceful and inspiring #Ramadan2026 to all those who celebrate it. Remembering especially the local traditions in #Pakistan. Has #Peshawar sighted the shawal moon 1 day ahead of everybody else again?
