🚨Breaking: we have a final deal on the Nature Restoration law! While we are pleased to see that all ecosystems originally covered by the law are still included in the agreement, the articles have been watered down compared to the original Commission’s proposal and the Council’s position. 💪It is disappointing to see the many exemptions included, and the excessive flexibility regarding obligations for Member States. The fight is not over yet: the agreement reached tonight will be voted on in the Parliament’s Environment Committee later this month. So, stay tuned! #RestoreNature

YES!🥳 National Environmental Ministers listened to citizens and science, and just voted in favour of the Nature Restoration Law, and adopted the so called "General Approach".
