Recently, we have acquired a new "toy" for the laboratories: Akta Start: Is a preparative chromatography system for protein separation and purification that allows to collect the protein in a fractionation system. By using different columns, proteins can be separated by... 🧵
... size exclusion, ion exchange or affinity chromatography. Protein complexes can also be identified in this equipment by size exclusion chromatography.
We were able to buy the Akta Start thanks to #RamónyCajal funding from @AgEInves for Dr. Jordi Guillem (@fancyresearcher)
