Kit user highlight! The sample shown in the attached video was generated by Jenna McCloskey at The Ohio State University using a Translucence Biosystems Universal Tissue Clearing Kit. This video shows ΔFosB-positive cells across an intact rat brain hemisphere.
Jenna’s work with Dr. Cole Vonder Haar focused on using ΔFosB to better understand sustained neuronal activation and adaptation following traumatic brain injury, with a particular interest in how post-injury circuit remodeling contributes to persistent behavioral impairments.

This 3D visualization, captured on a #Zeiss lightsheet, shows Aquaporin-2 (AQP2) and smooth muscle actin (SMA) staining across an intact mouse kidney cleared with our Universal Tissue Clearing Kit!
Whole-organ imaging preserves the spatial relationship between these structures across the kidney, providing robust anatomical context that is difficult to capture from isolated sections alone.
